Guests

Head to the Guests tab to learn more about your diners' inquiries on the phone.

Overview

Slang is committed to bringing you closer to your diners. The Guests tab in your Slang dashboard provides up-to-date call logs that display the time your calls are coming in, as well as a Conversation Summary that helps you understand the interactions your guests are having with your Slang Concierge.

Most of the logs will be identified by diner phone number, only. Slang customers utilizing an integration with their reservations management platform will see guest names in the event that we have that information.

Conversation Summaries

Once you click on a name or diner phone number, your Activity log will show you an AI summary of each call. We have also added topic tags to these summaries for at-a-glance review.

Premium subscription customers can set up real-time Conversation Alerts for these same topics, to be sent via email or SMS to enable real-time follow-up opportunities if desired.

Coming Soon

We will be adding filters to the Guests tab keyed on the topic tags so you can view all recent calls related to Private Dining, for example.

We will also be adding event-based tags to enhance this feature and the Conversation Alerts feature specifically for customers utilizing a reservations integration. These event tags will facilitate follow-up in cases where diner requests weren't able to be fully automated through Slang.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why aren't my current calls showing on my Insights dashboards?

A: While the call data pipes into the Guests tab as each call ends, the Insights dashboards update daily by 8am EST with the previous full day's data.

Q: How can I associate guest names with the phone numbers in my Slang dashboard?

A: Slang customers utilizing our reservations management integration can pass us a CSV of diner data to infuse more context to the Guests tab, as well as streamline reservations booking. In the future we may release a feature upgrade that allows a direct import through the Slang dashboard portal.
